Truluck’s Chicago
Ocean’s Finest Seafood & Crab Restaurant
Role: Interior Designer
Project Type: Remodel, New Location within Existing Structure
Project Goals: One of Truluck’s new locations on Chestnut Street was a fine opportunity to elevate the restaurant’s look to the next level. It called for an updated carpet from softer colors, to a more vibrant and rich approach. The new colors paired perfectly with the full height mahogany paneling for a warm and classic feel. The barstools also rang in for an update, resulting in a custom cream and black tuxedo suiting. Customer experience and comfort being a top priority, new custom dining chairs were carefully selected to meet the clients expectations. To create a rhythm in materiality, the onyx bar top was carried over to onyx inspired sconces, bringing in a continuously soft and ambient glow. For a final touch, the use of Candelabra’s provide a subtle and timeless finish to the dining experience.
